Oaxaca
Well, last night I got to bed quite tired, which is new.
Planning on sleeping in, but something I ate upset my system, waking me at 4.30, 5.00 and when we got to six o'clock I was done lying in bed. I decided to take a warm shower and hope for some relief, didn't last long though.
Geerte was up quite early too and we went out to catch some sun before we had breakfast. This hostel serves it's breakfast, the choise is eg with beans and tortilla's or toast, coffee or thee, and fruits. Luxurious.
Paul got in touch with us and was willing to meet up, go to the market in Oaxaca and cook for us at the amazing rooftop kitchen. So ten thirty Geerte and me headed out to the mian church in Oaxaca downtown to meet Paul. The market is obviously a lot smaller then the market in Mexico city, it's desorienting non the less, and fun.
Not all shops have opened up jet and we decide to grab a coffee at the town square, coffee time turned into lunch time and Pauls bible (lonely planet) gave us the perfect restaurant to go to. We got there at 12:30 at where met by an empty restauran, they didn't open until one. Paul was braging about his lovely hotel and we decided that if it was only a 5 minute walk we wanted to see it. Unfortunetely for us our rooftop guarden is boring in comparison to his place! The absolute cutest little patio, including a fountain, lots of flowers, and rooms opening on to the patio, small seats are provided and we spend some time in this little heaven waiting for the restaurant to open.
Lunch was great, mecixan dishes, and the most beautifull restaurant. Eating in the patio, semi open rooftop, greens, lay back music and great service.
After dinner Geerte gave into the urge to finish a rapport and left for the hostel. Me and Paul went back to his place to enjoy a siesta before we went shopping at the market.
My dinner is just about ready and smells really good, thus, I'm tapping out ^^
